An attempt to finally take control sends you spiraling into darkness, to awake in the surreal world of your mind. This is The Abyss: a surreal work of interactive fiction where you struggle to survive and reclaim ownership of your mind. Explore the extensive world or try to find a companion to help you through the lonely world. Have caution, though: sometimes choices mean life or death. The Abyss is an extensive and complex game in the style of choose-your-own-adventure stories. It tests the limits of the genre, and pulls together myth and fact to create an immersive and intricate world of motivation, struggle, and self-identity.
